Who I Am

I’m the owner and man behind the lens at Scott Griggs Studios, a business-to-business commercial photography studio, located in Durango Colorado since 2009.

Completing school at RIT’s School of Photographic Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Advertising Photography, I began photographing in northern California’s Silicon Valley. After starting Scott Griggs Studios in 1999 SGS grew into a successful commercial studio and from 1999 to 2009 served companies which included Fortune 100 corporations, international technical and product manufacturing firms and local businesses. We earned our reputation and the loyalty of our clients by offering precision photography and impeccable client service. In short: We get it. We pay attention to the details, because it’s the small things that make a big difference in the world of photography. We listen closely to our clients’ needs and put our experience and expertise to work to deliver what our clients want, when they want it, all at a price that keeps our integrity intact and our clients coming back. We’re not just trying to get today’s business from our clients – we’re more interested in building long-term relationships and surpassing expectations. What We Do

Our images have graced the websites of some of the largest companies in America, from technology and biotech sectors on down the line. While that all sounds nice, we chose to live in Durango for a reason – because we love the beauty and the quality of life of living in a smaller local community. I can help your business stand out in a sea of mediocrity. To cite an example, I used my photos to sell our house in 2009. The photos not only worked, they obliterated the competition. Our house sold in thirteen days! It also sold for almost 30 percent over the value of what comparable homes in the area were going for. This is quite a feat if you consider that the real estate market was in a major sort of funk back then.
